Closing the Language Gap - Senate Subcommittee Hearing
On July 28, former DOD Undersecretary for Personnel and Readiness David S. Chu, American Councils for International Education President Dan Davidson and CASL Executive Director Richard Brecht, testified along with members of the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management regarding the current efforts by the DOD and DHS to increase government foreign language capacity.
